Company Overview Walfors Industrial was registered in August 2014 and began trading in March 2015. Initially borne out of humble beginnings, operating out of the home of one of its directors, Walfors Industrial outgrew its premises twice over and has consistently progressed steadily to increase not only its product ranges but its staff complement as well. Our products At inception, Walfors Industrial exclusively offered Georg Fisher Piping systems of Switzerland. Georg Fischer is a well-known, world-wide, large thermoplastic pipe, valve, and fitting manufacturer. The industry’s need for Walfors to offer a larger and diversified range of products became apparent and Walfors embraced this opportunity and began to offer products that met the industry needs. Walfors Industrial is currently distributors for: • Georg Fischer Piping Systems of Switzerland • Walfors Industry Limited of China (manufacturer of thermoplastic stock shapes) • Colasit Fans of Switzerland (manufacturer of thermoplastic extraction fans) • Galiakotwala of India (manufacturer of equipment for Sulphuric acid plants) Walfors Industrial, together with the assistance of Standard Bank Enterprise Development was able to increase its production scope with the establishment of its own machine shop in 2016. With this expansion, Walfors Industrial was able to machine its own parts and components adding a new dimension to this growing business. In 2017, Walfors Industrial established a small but significant PTFE tube moulding plant which allowed for an expansion of our manufacturing capacity. In 2018, we acquired Case Plastics, a company with over thirty years’ experience in manufacturing tanks and scrubbers as well as on site thermoplastic repairs and installation. With this new acquisition, Walfors Industrial now had the capacity to not only supply its products but to fabricate and install its products, giving Walfors Industrial a great competitive advantage in the market place.
