Dirt abrasion destroys floor finishes. Mat-Lok barrier mats clean shoes by attracting dirt by static charges caused by ultra fine nylon fibres in the mat. Mud/water are absorbed into the fibres of the mat drying the soles of shoes. Stones caught in shoes are removed by aluminium scraper sections, preserving floor finishes inside buildings saving costs in future floor renovations.
